An air diversion box was required to allow mixing or selection of warm or cold air to optimize engine performance in different outside temperature conditions. On site we measured the entire original system including the location for the warm air hole in the cooler to be able to pre-build as much as possible in our shop, reducing downtime on install. We measured out primary support locations as well to reuse existing framework.

After building the entire system in our shop and having it finished with powder coat, we took it to location. Once the warm air inlet in the cooler wall was cut and the old piping removed it was just a matter of bolting the new system in and welding a pipe support to the cooler wall to minimize effects of vibration.
